A trained , inventive and technically skilled artist painter should be capable of creating any work of art based on a clear or general idea coming from somebody else. This is what "made to order" works of art is all about. Most clients ask for replicas or adaptations, pastiches of existing works of art (respecting copyright laws), but if a client for instance asks you to paint the yellow dream he had last night about 2 elephants fighting over the last red tree in a green dessert and make it fit in an existing oval-shaped niche in a wall it should be possible to create this work of art as well. Most of the commissions executed until now however have been a little less spectacular, but some of them nevertheless resulted in quite original works of art indeed.
